I enjoyed lockdown because the weather was amazing and I took the opportunity to tidy up the garden and relax in the sun. I painted the dwarf wall black and the concrete 70’s wall a leftover pale pink. I bought pink and purple plants for the main border as they are my fave colours.

The back of the garden was a bit of a mess and I didn’t really know what to do with it. One day I had the bright idea to create a dining area in the shady space behind the garage and halve the size of the raised bed to create an additional sunny grassy seating area. I painted the furniture blue and bought an outdoor rug to cover the concrete.

The neighbours donated me a wooden sunbed which I painted up and relaxed on a lot watching the kittens chase each other and insects.

My friend’s husband kindly trimmed the large trees at the back.
